Financial Aid

The Center for Environmental Studies has two teaching assistantships available each year that normally are offered to entering students. Application for a teaching assistantship should be made at the time of application for admission to the program. Teaching assistants must be fully fluent in English, and must be available for an interview before the assistantship is offered. These assistantships provide a stipend, health coverage, plus a tuition waiver for the six courses that may be taken during the year in which you are a teaching assistant. Additional financial aid is available in the form of a partial tuition waiver of up to 50%. The Center stands ready to assist you in your efforts to obtain aid from non-University sources. Partial summer fellowships from the Graduate School are also available for students between their first and second years in the program.
